6. Other Information

   1) Although the maximum number of students for each class is indicated, the

      system will register anyone requesting for registration regardless of order.

   2) Students request for preliminary registration will be processed

      according to the   following procedure.

   - If the number of pre-registered students does not exceed the maximum

   capacity: the preliminary registration is regarded as the final registration

   or the class can be canceled if the number of registered students is far below

   the capacity.(ex; when the capacity of the class is 50 students and 30 students

   signed up for the class, these 30 students are regarded as the finally-

   registered students and are automatically enrolled on POVIS.)

   - If the number of pre-registered students exceeds the maximum capacity:

   the result of the preliminary registration is invalid. Therefore, these

   students must register again during the final registration period. However,

   in certain cases that the exceeded number does not interfere with the academic

   quality, the exceeded number will be accepted and regarded as the final

   registration.

     The Division of Humanities and Social Sciences might consider adding more

   number of classes for those courses that are highly in demand during the period

   between the preliminary registration and the final registration.   

  3) Upon completion of the preliminary registration, the results displaying

     classes that are regarded as the final classes and names of registered

     students will be announced on POVIS.

5. Registration Procedure :

   1) Consult with your academic advisor → Register for courses online and

      print the completed registration.

   2) Obtain confirmation from academic advisor and department head     

     - For research participation, obtain an approval from the professor in

       charge of the research project and submit the research participation plan

       to the professor.

     - Please write down the name of the professor in charge of the research

       project when submitting a request for research participation.

   3) Deadline to submit course registration slips to the division office

       : Mon. Dec 6. 4:00pm

   4) Viewing tuition due amount: available from Tue. Dec 7. 9:00am

   5) Please deposit amount due for tuition and boarding fee to your virtual
