Abstract

The TOTEM Experiment will measure the total pp cross-section with the luminosity-independent
method and study elastic and diffractive scattering at the LHC.바카라 사이트To바카라 사이트achieve바카라 사이트optimum바카라 사이트forward
coverage for charged particles emitted by the pp collisions in바카라 사이트the바카라 사이트interaction바카라 사이트point바카라 사이트IP5,바카라 사이트two
tracking telescopes, T1 and바카라 사이트T2,바카라 사이트are바카라 사이트installed바카라 사이트on바카라 사이트each바카라 사이트side바카라 사이트in바카라 사이트the바카라 사이트pseudorapidity바카라 사이트region
3.1 ≤ |η| ≤ 6.5, and Roman Pot stations will be placed at distances of ±147 m and ±220 m
from IP5 at LHC. Being바카라 사이트an바카라 사이트independent바카라 사이트experiment바카라 사이트but바카라 사이트technically바카라 사이트integrated바카라 사이트into바카라 사이트CMS,
TOTEM will first operate in standalone mode to pursue its own physics programme and at바카라 사이트a
